One of the standout features of Alacati is its diverse menu, highlighting traditional favorites with a modern twist. The Pide selection is particularly impressive, with options like the Mixed Pide with Pastrami, sucuk, & cheese for $22.95 and the Vegetarian Pide for those seeking a lighter dish at just $14.95. Each pide is crafted with care, ensuring a delightful blend of flavors molded into a crispy flatbread.
For those craving something a little more adventurous, I highly recommend the Char-Grilled Octopus served with a refreshing arugula salad. The octopus is cooked to perfection, with a delectable char that enhances its natural flavors, creating a brilliantly balanced dish.
And don't overlook their hot appetizers. The Cigar Roll and Borek are must-tries, bursting with the goodness of feta cheese and light phyllo dough, perfect for sharing. Each dish holds the promise of authenticity, as reflected in the rave reviews from delighted patrons.

“ The food was wonderful! The desserts were my favorite! I definitely plan on coming back and trying new dishes! Great local spot! ”
“ Last night, I went to Anthony's Coal Fired with my daughter and I mentioned how I forgot there was a new Mediterranean restaurant right there. And tonight, the husband and I wanted something different so I remembered this place. When I first walked in, I was absolutely taken by the lighting and decor; from the chandeliers, to the flooring, to the wall pieces, and even the chair cushions. We were seated at a 2-top, but it wasn't a tiny sort of 2-top. Our server, Tuch, was efficient with asking us about what we'd like to drink. I was happy to see when we walked in that they were a full bar because online, it's implied beer and wine only, although I did end up ordering a glass of Pinot Noir. It was a lovely one. For starters, we had our eye on the grilled octopus because it is one of our favorites. It is the char-grilled octopus with an arugula salad and beat sauce. We both like arugula, but I like red onions and he likes red peppers so we both picked out what we liked and mixed it with the arugula. The real show-stopper of that salad was the dressing. In fact, the husband ordered more bread to sop up the dressing...it was so clean and fresh tasting! For dinner, my husband had his eye on 2 things and since I liked his choices, we ordered them both...the Adana - seasoned ground lamb with chopped bell peppers, served with bulgar wheat, grilled tomato, and pepper (The pepper was a spicy jalapeno) and the Gyro Doner. This was served as a thinly sliced gyro meat and the rest of the meal was identical to the Adana minus the lamb meat. We were okay with that because we only touched the sides of the gyro plate and knew we'd be taking the other sides home. What I loved about the Gyro Doner is it isn't your typical "gyro". It was a nicely presented platter of a deconstructed gyro without the heavy pita bread. What I didn't like was the temperature of the meat. It wasn't hot enough to our liking. But the flavors were all there and the lamb of the Adana was delicious! I told our server, Tuch, about this because they've only been open 4 - 5 months and it's an easy fix. He was so gracious and grateful for my feedback and made up for the less-than-hot "gyro". Even before he made up for it, we told him we were definitely returning because the atmosphere and food is excellent. So if you're in the mood for Mediterranean, Alacati is the place to go. And I found out that their original location is in Hallandale and even bigger (but I do love a quaint, little restaurant with excellent service and food.) Overall, an excellent Mediterranean hidden gem in the heart of Plantation! ”
“ I just discovered this place and absolutely love it! The lahmacun is authentic and comes in a really big portion. Tuna is incredibly nice, helpful, and funny. I’ll definitely be back. ”
“ A friend and I had dinner here. The owner is wonderful; very friendly and personable. He gave us recommendations based on what we like or felt for our meal. The food was delicious! Wonderful decor; colorful and light. Would definitely recommend ! ”
“ This is our first time here, the food was excellent. The waiter was very friendly, and the service was impeccable. I must say I was very impressed with the Halal options they had. The decor was amazing and the place is clean. They have appetizers, we got falafel. They were amazing . Exerting is made fresh - we could see it , as the kitchen is visible ”
“ The best Turkish food I've had in a while. I used to go to the location in Hallandale all the time and both locations do not disappoint. The lentil soup, Adana Kebab, iskandar, and mix grill are my favorite. So glad this place opened close by. ”
“ Unforgettable Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Plantation! The food here is delicious, you can taste the fresh ingredients in every dish, from the hummus to the newly baked breads, and Calamari, also the presentation is impeccable! I highly recommend the Moussaka, Chicken Kebab and the Cheese Flatbread. The Kazandibi was a pleasant surprise! The decor is so beautiful and inviting, with attention to detail and cleanness. Our servers were attentive and friendly! We will come back again soon. Five stars! ”
“ The food is seasoned perfectly. Service couldn't have been any better. If this is your introduction to Mediterranean food, every other restaurant will fall short... This location has been open for 5 months. I'm looking forward to going back.. ”
